The old fashioned way. Known far and wide for its “oysters—fried, stewed or nude,” Wintzell’s Oyster House was founded in 1938 by Oliver Wintzell, and has continued to serve only the freshest Gulf seafood to the public ever since.
The food was excellent! My son and I shared oysters on the half shell which were extremely fresh and a good size. We also had the charbroiled oysters the gumbo, crab cakes, and crab soups. OMG! All the food was fantastic! I recommend this spot A1!
